The Wateree River Blue Trail asks visitors to follow the National Leave No Trace Code of Outdoor Ethics that promotes the responsible use and enjoyment of the outdoors:
- Plan ahead and prepare.
- Obey all rules and regulations.
- Respect private property.
- Travel and camp on durable surfaces.
- Dispose of waste properly (human and litter).
- Leave what you find.
- Minimize campfire impacts.
- Respect wildlife.
- Be considerate of other visitors.
